The latest Air Fear of God merges proven performance innovation with clean-cut features
Nike’s first collaborative project with Fear of God founder and creative director Jerry Lorenzo was highlighted back in 2018 by a court-ready basketball shoe: The Nike Air Fear of God 1. Incorporating a double-height Zoom Air heel unit, the rollout was tactical—which is part of Lorenzo’s desire to focus on the emotional element of sport.
Now, Nike has unveiled its latest collaboration with Lorenzo: the new Air Fear of God 1 Triple Black. This time, the Air Fear of God merges proven performance innovation with clean-cut features to create a futuristic vision of luxury streetwear. The shoe is completely covered in dark shades of “Off Noir” and its ultra high-cut uppers with suede is completed with zip closure in the back.
As comfortable on the runway as it is on hardwood, the versatile silhouette has already made high-profile appearances in tunnels and post-game pressers. Above all, the understated Air Fear of God 1 Triple Black exemplifies high street and basketball-inspired style.
